The Groote Vallei Guest Farm offers visitors a tranquil stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The main farm building has been restored to its original Cape Dutch splendor.  The adjoining barn has been converted into luxury accommodation with bathrooms en suite.  All accommodation is fully serviced.

The self contained accommodation has its own barbeque area on a covered patio, while another delightful barbeque area is also available on the banks of the Boontjies River which runs through the farm.

The main house has a ladies bar and boasts a well stocked wine cellar.  Bed and Breakfast with optional table d'hote dinner is offered to guests.

The farm offers a number of activities such as fishing (black bass have been seen in the river), horse riding, cycling and of course, beautiful walks.

Of historical interest is the British blockhouse of Anglo Boer origin situated at the boundary to the farm.
