Mont Rouge is surrounded by fruit trees, vineyards and the magnificent Winterhoek mountains.

The accommodation itself is basic, comprising a self contained cottage on the river front.  Rates are R100 to R150 for the cottage which sleeps four.  Breakfast is optional at R30 per person.

However, there is a great deal to keep you occupied at Mont Rouge.

• 4x4 trails - a must for the adventurous spirit
• Fruit tours - experience the picking, pruning and packing of fruit
• Dried fruit sales and a tour of the factory
• An open air amphitheatre - suitable for weddings, party's, concerts etc.
